Zer0 Debris, a global environmental organization is hiring creative, hardworking, ambitious interns to join their team.
**We offer unpaid college credit for this Internship opportunity (for those who apply)
Qualified candidates must have an interest in the environment and willingness to learn and think outside the box. Must have some knowledge on how to operate Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets. Be able to research proficiently and efficiently. Must be proficient on different Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter.
There is room for growth and in this position you have an opportunity to work closely with the Zer0 Debris board, and team members. There are many opportunities to learn new skills and network.
Candidates must be extremely detail oriented in executing instructions, demonstrate impeccable communication habits with the team, have innate organizational skills, and be a positive team player.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Comfortable making phone calls or sending emails
Comfortable managing Google Calendars
Proficient in Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Forms
Ability to communicate respond to texts, calls, emails, and messages within a reasonable time
Ability to work independently
Eager and quick to learn
Reliable and Responsible
Remain positive and coachable
Effective time management skills
Self Motivated and Proactive
Willing to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours a week.
A plus if you have a background in video editing, graphic design, journalism, event planning, event management. Not a requirement
Three Core Teams
The three teams will still work closely together to get things done.
Marketing & Media
Assist with designing graphics, flyers, logos, and other related design-related.
Assist with maintaining a powerful and inspirational presence by promoting
program efforts, managing social media and website, and creating digital
information campaigns. Assist with filming program efforts and video projects (such as interviews, documentaries, short instructional videos)
Assist with fund development activities which may include grant research, securing sponsorships, fundraising campaigns, and working with Events Team to plan fundraiser events online and in person.
Events / Administrative
Assist with administrative tasks such as event planning, project/program coordination, data entry, and communication efforts.
